Anna Simon was born and raised in and around Stockholm, Sweden, but has spent most of her adult life living in the Boston area. She received a bachelor's degree in religion at Wellesley College, and earned a M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Lesley University. She has several years experience in writing groups, reviewing peer work, researching and editing, and has designed her own curriculum along the way. She has led women’s retreats, published poems, and is currently working on a historical fiction novel. She is an avid cook and has combined her love of writing and baking in a Gluten Free Cookbook inspired by Swedish childhood recipes. She teaches creative writing at Needham Adult Education and is the instructor for Intuitive Writing Workshops.
